INVENTORY CONTROL
This features is an OPT IN feature.
To opt in you must log in to your ecrater.com account
from the left menu select Options under the Account area
check the box in front of Enable Inventory Control
click on Update
How it works
First when creating the ad you MUST fill in the QTY box. This box is located to the right of Taxable: Yes No
ONLY INSTANT PAYMENTS will automatically deduct the item from your Qty. So if someone selects to pay you other then instantly with Google Checkout or PayPal it will NOT lower your Qty.
Once your Qty has been sold out the system will automatical HIDE the item so no one can see it.
It is the responsiblity of the seller to MANUALLY change the Qty on payments that are not instantly made using Google Checkout or PayPal. |

Google Checkout orders --
Inventory control is not affected UNTIL the charge has been authorized.
If you have GC to automatically charge there is at least 15 minutes from the time the order is placed and the authorization actually happens.
If you have it set that you have to go to GC and tell it to make the charge that will delay the affect to your inventory control even longer. |

If you leave the quantity box in your product listing empty when entering the info, that will take the item out of the control of quantity control. It will mean that item is unlimited supply and people can buy as many as they want.
This may be useful for sellers who want to sell both limited quantity and unlimited quantity items at the same time. |

This is how I put my items into a spreadsheet mainly so I can track my inventory on hand amount for Uncle Sam and track the location of where the item is.
