I've put together a PDF booklet about my experiences selling on eCRATER, and am posting it for you all. I truly hope that you find it informative and helpful.
I'm nervous!!!!! Writing is hard, putting a little piece of you out there in front of everyone. However, it's what I do, so here goes!
http://www.h2mweb.com/Selling-on-the-Moon_cuppatea.ecrater.com.pdf
You will need Acrobat Reader. I think most people have it already, but if you don't you can download for free from
http://www.adobe.com/
The file is just under 2MB. Enjoy!

Thanks much to you both, I'm feeling less nervous now...
You're welcome to print it out, may I suggest just saving to your computer. That way you can open it when you want to and the links will all work.
I'm done for today, off to the mall! |

Excellent job Heather. Is there a way to have this pasted into the getting started forum? Have you sent Dimitri the link?
Something I learned today is that if I click at the top of the hits column it will organize according to popularity. Never even heard of it before. |

All I can say is WOW and THANKS! I read and re-read the forums for tips and solutions all the time. There is always something that I miss or forgot about. This is a great resource. You've spent a lot of time and energy and have a document that will be of great help to newbies and veteran ecrater shopkeepers alike. Just another example of what a great community ecrater has.

I just had to come back and say THANKS again! I've been reading and re-reading and have learned quite a lot! Had to make some changes to the store that I wouldn't have even thought of!

Thank you all!
From above comments:
I didn't email Dimitar (nervous again) perhaps I will.
Maybe a Moderator can post a link in the Solutions forum.
I'm already making notes for an update! I see helpful items every day on the board. I also just saw something interesting in eCRATER Terms, will have to modify part of the booklet. It says under Not Allowed:
- Test items unless your store is put on-hold
So, apparently you can post a test item but the store has to be on hold. (Has it always said that? I thought it said no test items at all...?)
There have been 120 downloads of the booklet, thank you for taking a look!
Wishing you sales early and often! |
