HELP!!!
I'm having a huge problem with the shopping cart..
I only charge a flat rate for shipping. Currently it is $7.00. This charge should stay the same no matter how many products the customer purchases, but the shopping cart is charging them $7 for each item added to the cart.
How can I fix it so the customer just pay the $7 once for the whole order?
Charging by weight won't work so I'm really at a complete loss at to how to fix this..
Thanks for any help.. Elizabeth |

Ok, I think I've come up with a solution to my shopping cart dilemna..
I'm going in and changing each items shipping fee to Free Shipping..
Next, I'm changing my PayPal Shopping Cart to charge the $7 shipping fee again.
For mail in payments (Checks, Money Orders) I'm asking the customer to add the $7 to their order total.
I think this will work out ok and it was the best idea I could come up with..
I've put notice all over my shop (in F&Q, Terms & Conditions, and Payment Options) explaining that thre is a $7 flat rate for shipping for all orders and how they will be charged & pay for it.
Wish me Luck.. I hope to have my shops back open by tomorrow *crossing fingers* |

If you set the shipping in Paypal and leave the free shipping in your eCRATER store you will not be able to get any feedback. This is because the total invoice amount in eCRATER will be different from what the buyer will pay you.
Use weight based shipping method instead. Set all columns of the shipping matrix but the last one with flat rate of 7. Fill out the last column of the matrix with 0. |

faeriedreams - as a buyer if the item says FREE SHIPPING and I go to pay it and you want $7 more I would be pissed! I would never pay it and you would lose a sale for sure.
Just my thought. |
