|
|
I read that the product qty here was only to limit the number available for purchase at one time.
Uh, that makes No sense at all.
It doesn't matter to me. But it would matter to others who have limited products. I'm trying to convince another seller from Ebay to come over here.
They have 1000's of products but only have limited qty's of each item.
The product qty in the listing would need to deduct from the max everytime an order is placed and become unavailable / not viewable when the number is "0".
Max qty minus order qty
Select products where max qty <> "0"
Then just ad a PHP script to display all products where qty is "0" for the store admin. Either delete or add more to the qty. |

NO WAY!!! I want my ZERO or SOLD item available for my buyer to see WHEN THEY RECIEVE THE ITEM!
This is why I do not hide the item immedately. As a buyer I want to see and compare should something not be right.
The max quantity for ordering hasn't been here all that long. 95% of my items have nothing in that box. I just recently realized that the systems takes a blank box to mean you only have one - instead I thought it meant I had unlimited. Cost me 3 paypal payments - when the customer should have been allowed to BUY all 3 at once.... instead he did 3 orders and paid all separately.
What you are talking about is not a max quantity per order BUT an inventory control feature. Which at this time eCRATER.com does not offer.
YOUR post is not for the general SELLER on ecrater.com. If you want eCRATER.com to hear it, you have to use the contact form at eCRATER.com. |

If I only had 1 of something, then I would need to delete the item after the sale. I guess it doesn't matter that much, unless we start getting tons of sales.
So blank is only 1? Wierd.
Maybe in the future we can have a qty control.
I set my max qty at 100 right now on most products. |

Wow, I didn't know that. I'd assumed unlimited as well... |
