Hello, I was wondering, what is everyones favorite movie of all time?
I would have to say mine is a toss up between Rose Red (Stephen King),
and of course Stir of Echos (Kevin Bacon). Just curious. Wink

i like pretty woman. i could never get tired of it. i think that was the best movie of the 90's. julia roberts captured it pretty well, her character...

i also like bridget jones diary i and ii. i love watching renee zelweger. she is so cute! and i like her british accent and facial expressions. not to mention, the 2 guys that are courting her as well.

i feel so sorry for her when she carried the snake figurine through the airport check, and then she was arrested.

and then the dancing scene with the girls in thailand, when they were admiring her push-up bra. that was funny...

(if you know what i am talking about) if not, you should watch b.j. diary.

I don't think I can come up with one favorite. A lot of great movies are made. The most perfectly constructed film I think I've seen is The Hours.

Films I never get tired of watching when they replay on TV are musicals. I must watch Sound of Music at least once a year and Chicago. Others are Casablanca and The Upside of Anger.

I'm sort of addicted to WWII movies so I really appreciated Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan. Can't say I keep watching them as they are quite disturbing, especially SPR. Watching that a second time is like having your fortune told with the exact moment of your death revealed.

Can't say that I have a real "favorite" movie, though a handful come to mind. I can appreciate practically any film, if even for a single scene or memorable line. Oh sure I could be cliche and say "Star Wars" "Jaws" or any other modern classic Spielberg/Lucas 70's-80s era movie. But the fact of the matter is...I just love the art of film, and practically anything on celluloid I'll watch once or twice no matter how bad the review.

I even sat through Gigli. Better than a sharp stick in the eye.
