|
|
I have started to write articles on the eCrater store that I deem as the featured store of the day.
I will post the store that I write about here, and I will include a link to the article.
Happy Selling - and Maybe you will see your store in the features! |

Big Tall might consider that advertising and not allow it. Before you go to all the work, run your idea by BT. |

What a great idea!
It'll be fun to explore the stores you feature, too.
Once in a while, I go to the eCRATER home page and start browsing. I check out the store(s) of the ads I click into, but usually get sidetracked and only see one or two. And right now don't have enough time to do a lot of browsing, anyway.
Been working on my web sites. Will be launching them as soon as I can get the layout to work right. Might borrow your idea, if that's okay? |

How do you determine which store you'll feature? |

Have at it. eCrater is free, and my ideas are too! |

I just browse until I find one that I like enough to feature. I usually go for one that explains itself well, and will appeal well to readers. I have no real set criteria though - so it is likely that your store might be chosen at some point! |

The Art House featured store has been suspended or left ecrater. No such store. |

This is a cool idea but I think it would work better on a blog rather than the ecrater forums. You'd reach a more varied audience since it's mostly ecrater users who come here. With a blog you could also set it up for people to email you suggestions for store of the day.
Maggie: odd it's showing up fine for me, maybe some temporary glitch? |

The top url is ending with a dot, so it doesn't work. The second one does. |

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I didn't notice the dot.
Suburban Enterprises. Could I suggest you look at your potential stores from the point of view of how well designed they are, how workable. The store you featured has very poor titles that would never bring together a print buyer and that store. The titles would not come up in a search. The store only has 5 items and while claiming the prints are signed limited editions, do not say editions of how many or who took the pictures.
Your idea is a good one SE but promoting stores that haven't done their homework doesn't make you look very discerning. |
