Unsupported, but necessary, Google ID Attribute

I received an email from google base tream as follows:
<<<<Thank you for your participation in Google Base. We're reaching out
to inform you of an upcoming change regarding the Google Base
attribute, ID. IDs are unique alphanumeric identifiers used to
identify each offer in your data feed and are a required Google Base
attribute.

Our system will soon begin verifying that every item submitted to
Google Base includes this required attribute during processing.
Items submitted without ID attribute values will generate an error
and will not be processed by our system or appear in search results.

In a recent review of your Google Base content, we noticed at least
one of your offers doesn't include an ID value. If your feed already
includes the ID attribute, please also make sure every item in your
file includes a unique value for this attribute. If your file
doesn't include the ID attribute, you will need to add this
attribute to your feed and include a unique value for each item.

To avoid any delays in processing your items when this change
occurs, we'd like to ask that you promptly update your content to
include both the ID attribute and unique values for every item
you're submitting. >>

My Problem is that the ID attribute is not one that is supported by Ecrater. I tried adding it in this format [!id:1!] but it is visible on my listings and I assume it's because it's not supported by ecrater.

Meanwhile, my google hits dropped to ZERO yesterday.

Any idea how to ad the ID attribute??? TIA gina

You will need to use the contact form at www.ecrater.com bottom left to report this to ecrater.com

here's the word from ecrater:
"Most probably this email is for your own feed that you are doing but not for
the eCRATER one.

eCRATER supports the id attribute. It is being populated automatically by the
eCRATER system. You don't have to do anything."

The only odd thing is that I'm not using a feed on my own. (?)

I thought that immediatly that it had to do with you doing your own feed.

Are you SIGNED UP to do your own feed
and that's why they sent you this email?

The feed done by ecrater.com GOOGLE would never know it's you because GOOGLE link is to the ecrater site so the ID is the ecrater site.
