how to get featured on the main page?

How does someones items get choosen to be featured on ecrater.com on the main page? Everytime I look its a pair of shoes from the same seller. Is this something that we pay for and if so how?

I don't know all the qualifications BUt I do know that the item has to have a white clear white background.

I believe at this time eCrater.com is basically studing the results of having an item in that spot. I don't think it is available to BUY the spot at this time --- BUT I could be wrong.
