What do you think about submitting the links to the directories?Is it beneficial or a waste of time?I've been submitting to a few when I have time and was just wondering what everyone thought.Thanks

As a directory owner, I will say it's one of the most beneficial things you can do for a site. This is why I say this.

Two things all search engines take into account is site content and IBLs (in bound links). Due to the design of ecrater we are not able to actively exchange links with other website. Getting your site listed in directories gives you IBLs. Not only that but it gives your site exposure to people that browse directories.

The list your provided offers lots of "free" directories you can submit to. Sure it's lots of work and takes time but it's time well spent. I spend lots of time myself submitting my sites to directories including my own directory.

I like that everyone helps out so much here not like other places _bay.

I've started to send flyer's in with those credit card app's you get all the time.
I take out the envelope and just mail back the front page of ecrater and it doesn't cost a thing. You never know they just might pass it around.
