I find RME easier to use as well.
I have had 3 people contact me and buy from me w/o eCrater and use RME because it is totally free for all parties.
I suggested that eCrater partner with RME, but that talk died... |

I love RME!
I've already used most of my "free" money to buy clothes for my 1yo. I figure my hubby can't pick on me for buying so much if I didn't really pay for it, right? lol
It's very easy to use, but I have my reservations. First off, they really should take credit cards. BUT, I know that they wouldn't be able to be free then (I have a merchant's account, and the fees have to be covered somehow). My main concern, though, is that I've sent them two emails in the past, to customer service, and never received a response to either of them. And I know it's not an email issue on my end (I have my own domain name, and my host does not impose filters on my mail).
Heck - I like anyone who tries to give PayPal the whatfor!
Still need to get around to signing up with Google Checkout. Problem is - I don't have a checking account. So, I need to do that first. I could link it to my hubby's and my account, but then I'd never see "my" money. lol The merchant account goes to mom's checking account (since it's for her business).
Hey, any way to make legitimate sales for the least amount of fees is great by me!

Howdy Cheap!
Not ignorance! It's just a new service... I'm sure many were confused by PP in the beginning for PayPal.
RME is RevolutionMoneyExchange. Think PayPal without the credit cards. It's also run by a BANK, so the money is secured.
Go to revolutionmoneyexchange.com to learn more. If you decide to sign up, I'd love for you to let me send you a referral email! You get $25 for signing up regardless, but then I'd get $10, too. I LOVE free money! *laughs*

I can't say no to $25 for nothing. I don't know if they will let me open an account because I live in Japan but it is worth a shot. |

Oops! I don't think they allow anything other than US accounts.

No credit cards? Does that mean you have to give them access to a bank account? |

Not sure about that. From what I understand, you have to load your RME account and purchases are funded from your balance. As far as being able to use it here, RME would have to set up a system allowing it to function with ecommerce sites. |
