Has anyone ever heard of this? Yesterday google had indexed two of my pages. I checked again to see if they indexed anymore and guess what now the pages that were indexed are gone! Err... how frustrating has this happened to anyone else?

I know there is a way to know when you have your own site -- but I didn't know you can tell on the ecrater store.
Please share the HOW to know this |

google products = a google shopping search
have absolutely NOTHING to do with your pages being indexed or not indexed.
Google Shopping is based off of the google based feed submitted by the ecrater.com.

Where did I say Product Search or Base had something to do with indexing my pages? I simply stated that I was happy that they had re indexed my pages in the search and my products were now on Google Products Search and Base.
Google Base and Google Product search are not the same thing they work together as all Google does. If they were the same then they would have the same address, display the same results, and most likely we wouldn't be having this conversation because there would not be two separate names to confuse. For further proof you can look at my listings on Base and Product Search. While they have many of the same items there are some that are different which furthers the proof that Base and Product Search are two separate things. Just type in site:http://overbound.ecrater.com once in Base and Once in Product Search. Product Search has 11 listings Base has 10.

Google Base is the tool you use to feed data to Google system (basically the Google Product Search, but I think the info also ends up at Google Search Engine). If you click on the Information For Sellers link below the Product Search and then Terms of Service you will that it is Google Base (since that is the way to enter info). |

HUH??
Google Base is the FEED TO Google Product search
You won't be in Google Shopping is you don't have a google base feed.
Still nothing to do with indexing. |

Ah so they are no longer the same thing now base is a feed eh?
Google Base is not the same thing as Google Product Search by your own account it acts as a feed which is only part of what it does actually.
At any rate you do not have to submit your stuff to base to get on product search it just ups your chances a lot.
One of my ebay listings was on product search and I am fairly certain ebay does not send their listings to base.
I never said it had anything to do with indexing. You seem to like putting words in my mouth and making statements that are either false or exaggerated. |

There are a ton of ebay affiliates on the internet - folks that get paid a small commission for sending buyers to ebay. They put together feeds and even pay for adsense to draw in people.
I am still wondering how you know that google indexed your store
how can you tell that? |
