Our store has been down for 3 days now because none of the products that are listed in the categories are showing up.

If you click on categories, you can easily see that there are many products. However if you click on a product, it says "no such product". It does this for all the products that we have listed.

I checked to ensure that the store was active and it is.
ALL of the products are visible and not hidden.
It shows the products on the home page under featured product, however if you click on it for more information or to place an order, it gives you the error "No Such Product".

As far as I can tell, this is a backend issue. How do we get this fixed?
The site is http://indiju.ecrater.com or www.indiju.com

Thanks

Looks like your store was suspended. Were your name-brand items authentic? ECRATER does not allow fakes.

Thats weird,

We didn't get any notice from them, it just stopped working.
I emailed them twice asking what the problem is.

All our bags are 100% authentic. Everything we sell is authentic and we offer a 100% money back guarantee.

In fact, we just opened the store, so we have not even sold anything yet for anyone to give a complaint or even ask for a refund.

99.999% of designer bags sold on the internet are fakes no matter what the seller claims or what promises are made. You will have to prove that you bought those items from the manufacturer or from a registered designer outlet store to sell them on line. Sanitized invoices don't work. They are the biggest scam of all.

If the distributor who sold the items to you or for whom you are selling them swore the items were authentic, they lied. Such distributors don't exist. Some designers have outlet stores for unsold end of season, returns, etc, but they are few and far between.

Your home page looks like you are an affiliate for a drop shipper. That's 10 red flags right there.

I couldn't agree more with you. We did our homework on spotting fakes and we did our homework on our supplier. Our supplier carries non-current bags that are 100% authentic.

All zippers have the Gucci logo on the underneath of the zipper
Each bag comes with a serial number stamped on the tag by the inside zipper. Its made with high quality material, comes with high quality dust cover, controlatto card, Gucci leather care card and a brown envelope containing the Gucci History booklet. The bag did not come wrapped in plastic as most fakes do.

We also compared our suppliers bag with a 100% authentic store bought Gucci Bag and they are identical to the last stitch.

This is why we are confident in our product and offer the 100% money back guarantee.

I do realize that the hand bag industry for the most part is fraudulent and counterfeit. This is one of the reasons we did our homework in the first place. I guess we feel a little disappointed that we had our store suspended without getting notice and without any investigation in to our products.

Thanks for all your help, this has been interesting, the fact that you tried to help us with your experience and knowledge in a unbelievable amount of time, shows us what a great community ecrater is. Now, the only thing left to do is to prove to ecrater that we are not selling fakes. Smile probably easier said than done.

Counterfeiters buy new bags from the designers as soon as they come out and copy them down to the last detail. Some throw them together with cheap materials and those will fall apart within weeks. Others however make bags so authentic only an expert from the design company can tell them from the real thing. Those bags are still fakes.

Gucci has a few outlet stores for unsold old stock, returns, etc. but they are not that plentiful nor do they have so much stock that wholesalers can buy it all up and operate as a drop-shipper with affiliates.

Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Chanel are three of the most abused designers. Ecrater acts quickly to suspend suspect stores because to allow them to operate while they are being investigated means stores selling fakes have the opportunity to rip off buyers.

No notice is given because each seller is supposed to abide by the rules and have their products verified before signing up.

What you need to do is ask your supplier for proof of authenticity. Proof, not just an email guaranteeing they are authentic. That means an itemized invoice from Gucci with nothing blacked out.

Thanks for all your help on this matter.
We are taking steps to send the bags to an 3rd party expert to determine whether they are real or fake.

We have no wish to rip anyone off only to open a store and make money legally and honestly.

Thanks again

This is such a tough industry.... just send the receipts from each outlet store, authorized store or from the designer themselves, to ecrater since those are the only places that sell the"real deals" . If you got them from anyone else OR EVEN some reputable stores (Sam's club sold fake designer name shirts) They are 99.999999% surely "replicas"... which are fake.
Now if a corporation like walmart/sam's don't even know they had fakes.... it's REALLY tough for us.

Anyway.... get your receipts to them from the designers & you will be up & running in no time.

I don't think indiju has receipts except from the supplier. There have been several instances of suppliers claiming to get the bags from suppliers who get them from the factory. The paper trail is so convoluted it needs a team of lawyers to follow it. I've seen some of the promotional material the suppliers send out. You'd think they were sitting on the right hand of God.

All you have to do is Google (any designer's name handbags) and you will see hundreds of suppliers offering that designer's bags at less than wholesale. All are guaranteed authentic and not one is.

One common line used by sellers of counterfeit bags is: Sold out in stores. That is true and not true. The bags they are selling never were in the designers' stores. The styles they are imitating are produced in sufficient number to satisfy the number of women who want them and can afford them.

The demand is not for the genuine designer handbag but for the knock-off that gives the look without the price tag.

The genuine bags sell for from high hundreds to thousands of dollars and you have sellers claiming authenticity for bags that sell for about 5% of retail some times.

I ask you to think just how important the image is to you. Think about this: The rich and famous still aren't going to know you are alive. Your friends who are oohing and aahing over your new fake bag and comparing it to their fake bags know it is fake even though you are all swearing them to be genuine. So you all know your friends are lying about their bags. What else are they lying about? Where does truth exist...or does it? What happens to a world where everyone is hiding behind a cardboard facade?

There aren't any "suppliers" for genuine Prada, Gucci, Coach, Louis Vitton or any other high end labels. They only sell their brands in department stores and their own stores. I don't care who you got them from, if they didn't come directly from the contracted dept store or the label itself then you can consider it fake.

We are having the same problem she is as our Ecrater store went down on Aug 6th. No e-mail from Ecrater and we have been advertising our Ecrater store all over the Internet and including Ebay. Our Ebay customers told us about the problems there having with our Ecrater store. So we have been having to sale the parts there looking for to them thru Ebay. I am hoping our store is just having a glitch. We don't sale handbags as we sale lawn mower parts. If anyone can give us some inside info it would be appreciated. Thank you. www.lawnmowerpartsstore.ecrater.com

I just took a look at your store. It is suspended. There are Google Ads in your categories. Which means you either violated a term or you need to prove that you are not.

Please read eCraters "terms" page. According to the terms eCrater does not have to notify you before suspension or shutting down your store. Check section 3 where they state what you are not allowed to post at the site. Figure out which of those you may have violated or appear to be violating. Correct it in your store and contact eCrater through the contact page to get your store back. If you do not take action and wait you will keep on waiting.

If you are not able to login to your store, the issues might be more serious. Contact eCrater to find out.

Designer handbags are not the only items that may have copyrights and trademarks. If you are using a product name without authorization you can face this type of thing.

As a last note: here at the forum we cannot see the details of your store. We may guess at things but you are the only one with access to the product pages, so you need to figure out what the issue is.

LawnmowerPartsStore,

Since I can't see your products, it is hard to say what is wrong but your store has been suspended.

Your store looks to be well set up and your products are not those that would normally be flagged.

One thought; are you using your own pictures or someone else's?

Read the following post to learn more about suspended stores.
http://www.ecrater.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1214

Good luck resolving the problem.

LawnmowerParts

Were you using a drop-shipper? One problem affiliates repeat over and over is to use catalogue numbers as titles perhaps followed by John Deere etc. as in JD43690 John Deere.

To a search engine and 99 44/100% of consumers that means nothing and would be flagged as a nonsense titles. If you have a few like that they are merely deleted but if your whole store is like that it will be suspended.

That is all I can suggest other than if you are using catalogue pictures without permission from the manufacturer.
