I have had one of the Office Live sites since the beta first came out. It's very limited as far as what you can do to it and from what I understand a major PITA to get them to release the domain.
I haven't tried to get mine but I plan to try because I'm not happy with not having the ability to access most of it.
This http://wahm922.com/ is the one I have there |

We opened a separate .com store because all of the items we sell would not mix well in 1 store.
why not just open a second eCrater store you say...?
Because it's also nice to have a place where no one can tell you what you can or cant sell.

We have a website we made through mircosoft office and it is for now basically a place to learn about us, what we carry and links to our other sites. It isn't anything fancy but it is at least a start.
We also have set ups in a few counties so needless to say it does keep us busy. If your interested, www.remalysbooksncollectables.com
If you click on the bay link it is empty right now. I am hoping we can get away from it completely soon.

Ha ha, thats what I told the guy. The owner of IOGO is my old college buddy. They have just been too busy to design their own page. I guess he must did something right to have more customers than he can handle. |

Hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday Season! I see I'm not the only one who's been busy working on a Website aside from their eCRATER Store. This new site is where I offer Higher-End items for Serious Musician/Working players. eCRATER is a great marketplace for the beginner thru intermediate level instruments I have listed here however, I feel a Website is a better place for offering Pro Line and Custom Gear.
Here is a link to my Pro Store. www.Solarcell7GuitarProStore.com
If anyone has any suggestions or comments about my site please feel free to post them here on this thread. Brian/Solarcell7[/url] |

You betcha. You have much more control over your own domain site. The cost is very minimal to say the least. 8.88 a year for the domain name. Then I pay about 2 bucks a months to host it. Peanuts really.
Far as paying for a shopping cart I also use Zen Cart.
Soon I will be reselling hosting. Actually I can right now if anyone is interested. Even those 5 bucks plans give you way more than you need when your first starting out. I could resell very basic plans for 2 bucks a month easily before going to the next level.

I finally got around to making a web site but only use it to advertise my stores.

I'm still working on it but I'm pretty proud of getting it this far.
