I left eBay and uninstalled the eBay toolbar, blocked popups from eBay, taking them off my allowed list.
What I can't get rid of is the incessant pop-up from eBay advising me of an updated version of the toolbar. Has any one tried to stop this and succeeded?
I posted this on eBay but have had no response of any kind. |

Do you have a poup blocker installed on your computer? |

I hope you meant pop-up blocker. If you did, yes and it seems to work well.

[quote="BigTallMensClothing"]This is because the ebay toolbar - once installed is never completely uninstalled. The toolbar is and always has been fill of spaware. Somewhere on your pc is a part of the toolbar that does not remove in the uninstall process. [quote]
I've been told the same is true of turbo-lister. Seems to me this is highly illegal, like finding a listening device in the war room and being unable to unhook it.
Thanks for the links. |
