Using Google Checkout

Over the weekend I had my very first sale payed for through Google Checkout. I went through the Processing part and the item is ready to ship.
does anyone know how long it takes for the funds to transfer to a bank account?
Because I am not shipping until the funds are received by me and I would like to update the buyer as to when the item will ship.

I had 2 sales with Google checkout so far. The first one showed up in my account 2 days after the payment was made, the second payment was made on 12/3 , and I expect to see it today or tomorrow. I guess weekend is equal to Monday

The payment was posted today. So it does indeed take 2 full business days.
I had my 2nd Google Checkout customer yesterday.
This is a great alternative to PayPal

Agree Google is going to be very good to my bank balance. Just processed my second Google sale and I've only had it for 4 days. I have a feeling sellers displaying Google checkout will fare better in Google searches than those who don't.

Can anyone answer this? When I am notifed of a Google sale, I go to ecrater orders and charge the amount. The empty square then gets a check mark and the square turns red but a little while later, it turns green like the Paypal paid squares. Is this by any chance an indication that the payment has been cleared/approved/whatever?

I alway process google payments through google checkout itself insted of through ecrater.
That way I can see what the status of the charge is.

I just received my first GC order today. Nice to have a 100% FEE FREE sale. Google is offering free payment processing all throughout 2007 as well. If you havent signed up now I suggest you do so. It cant hurt.

I've had 3 Google pays today and no PP. Despite PP being at the top of the list of acceptable payments. Those three sales added about $20 more to my pocket than I would have gotten on the sinking ship.

Once their card is charged, you can safely ship your item, the money is in your "Account" just waiting to be transferred to your bank.

Just had my 4th transaction thru google today on a big ticket item, Nice not to have to pay the transaction fee.

Very nice of them to waive the fee till the end of the year

Just got my 2nd GC order! The one thing I noticed is there is no print packing slip option. I guess they are working on that. Does anyone know if you add the tracking option in GC if it sends that to the buyer or if its just for reference?

If you go to Google checkout and click on the transaction, you get a page that gives more info. You can print that.

I have websites but the majority of my sales come over the phone because I sell B2B and advertise through catalogs. I currently process my phone CC's through Chase but it costs $21 a month plus over 3% of the sale! Can I enter a CC number that I get over the phone on Google checkout?
