Farrah Fawcett passed away earlier today. She had been battling cancer for a while now.

RIP Sad

According to LA Times Michael Jackson was rushed to the hospital with cardiac arrest. Reuters reports Michael Jackson dead. (unconfirmed). It is too new. Some sources say he is in a coma.

I know. It's a pretty strange day.

She's been ill for a while and they were saying it was close.

But I never expected Michael Jackson's death. He is just 50.

Edit:
The Reuters report may be false. I also heard he is in coma. I guess it is a bit early to have confirmation of his condition.

Charlie Gibson just came on to say that he has passed away. It makes me feel old when the icons of my youth pass away.

Just heard over the radio that ABC and LA Times confirmed Jackson's death.

My heart goes out to all of these families. I know how I felt when I lost my 21 year old baby sister a couple of years ago to a rare cancer disease. Just a constant reminder, to live each day like it was your last.

RIP, Mike, Farrah and Ed

Farah is not a surprise and Ed was old but Michael...my God. Although if you watch TMZ they were always hanging out outside a clinic door hoping to catch MJ coming out.

Michael Jackson was a tragedy whose truth will never be known as all those who know it have too many reasons to lie. And truth is always subjective.

I still can't believe MJ is gone...

I bought and downloaded all his songs I wanted from iTunes just in case his family decides to block them. I've been listening to the coverage on Fox News since they announced his death. Wow...it's unreal!

Farrah has suffered for three years...at least she's at peace now. I guess in many ways the same could be said for Michael.

R.I.P.

First it was Ed McMahon, then Farrah, then Michael Jackson, then Billy Mays and now Gale Storm.

RIP

It's truly sad when anyone passes away but for some reason Farrah passing away hit me extremely hard. I don't know whether it's because I grew up watching her on tv or maybe it's because my mom who also passed away from cancer looked sooo much like her except mom had dark hair. I dunno!! I wasn't a fan of MJ's music and didn't really know much about the others so their passing away really just didn't have the same affect on me. I will say that I feel sorry for MJ's kids because I'm sure they are going to be right in the middle of a court battle for custody.

I feel sorry for MJ's kids. The publicity machine will never allow them to have a private life. I sort of understand Michael's having them wear masks in public. The entertainment media needs to be contained.

Who was Fred Travalena?

Did anyone hear the latest MJ expose about him not being the biological father nor Debbie the bio mother and that neither had adopted the children? All were lab created embryos.

Since MJ had managed to keep the lid on this all these years, I have to assume the children didn't know. If such is the case, what a shocker: lose your father and learn he isn't your father in the same week.

Fred Travalena was an impressionist - headliner in Vegas.
66 yrs old
Known as the man of many voices as he did everyone.

He was a favorite of Jay Leno and on the show often.

As for MJ's kids. No I haven't heard that and honestly I don't think that is STILL anyone's business! As for if the kids knew - I don't think they are old enough to even understand it so even if they were my kids - they won't know ... not yet not until they are old enough to understand, compenhen it a little at least. As a said, that is no ones business but the kids and MJ's and Debbie's.
