|
|
I was just looking around at items like the ones I sell and there it was. So far I have found 2 of mine that this seller is using.
the sellers name is amberscandybouquets. I advise anyone who sells diaper cakes and such to look and see if they have your pictures as well.
The 2 I notices they stole are my burp cloth candies and a picture with 6 mini cakes on it.
I went to the contact and informed ecrater. i just hope i did it right.
If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.
thanks april |

all you can do is report it to ecrater.com
snail mail the seller with a cease and desist order
search for samples in google and you'll find a bunch. |

i just got a reply from ecrater and they want me to write a letter and mail it.
is there any other way to go about this? seems that mailing a statement with all the info they want will be hard to do.
has anyone else gone through this on ecrater and how did you solve the problem?
thanks |

Problems are more time consuming than difficult.
Create a letter in a word document and copy the urls to the items with your photos into the letter along with the urls to your items with the same pictures. Make sure you make it clear which is which. |

First... do what BT said about contacting the seller.
Second.... I know she already got some but redo your photos just by adding a watermark. Very simple to do... just open the picture you have in some graphic program... add a light grey or white text. Then reload to your store. At least that will stop future abuse. |

I just wanted to thank everyone for all the help and advise:) One reason I love ecrater!! The lady emailed me back late last night, i read it this morning, and she said she was sorry about it and that she will take them down. She said a friend of hers had put them up, some friend if you ask me.
Well thanks and I hope that no one has to go through a picture or description theif. It takes us so long and much hard work to get great photos and nice descriptions. |
