|
|
So I set my new store up and did not mark my items as used (which they are). This was brought to my attention, so I ran a global edit on all categories to change items to used. I only have 20some items an it has been over a half hour, how long does this take. I could have done this manually faster.
Thanks in advance for your help. |

Nevermind. I canceled it and did it manually. I've never been a patient man. It took me less than 5 minutes to do it myself.
I would have thought that the global action would have been quicker. |

One of the best things I have found about listing on ecrater is the speed even when I had to use slow dial up. I think probably because the program isn't having to deal with all the html and multiple pages that other sites require for listing items. |

I've seen the global editor take as long as 24 hours to complete an action. Usual time is about 1 and a 1/2 hours. If you need to change something right away and you don't that many items that need the change, it is faster to do it manually. |

I've had global actions take over night also. It shouldn't be depended upon for instant changes. I think it is more intended for major changes to a whole category or whole store. Then of course it is a major time saver. |

Not a problem.
I will know next time. I only did it cause I thought it would take just a few seconds. like I say, i did it myself in less than 5 minutes. I only had like 26 items in the store at the time, and didn't realize that they were all marked as new instead of used.
Now that my head is out of my 4th point of contact, i should be ok.
Thanks. |
