How to set classification of goods on display in shops?

My merchandise category from Category 6 (possibly wrong) the need to form the current 4 categories, each category a number of goods stored inside.

The current situation is: commodity groups set up inside a few more years null and void without any merchandise category. How can I delete these invalid operation categories?

Store the current display is not a designated category of goods, but for all the goods haphazard, giving the feeling of confusion. How to set up shop in order to show my classification? So customers can purchase goods selective. Please site staff or friends to inform the specific methods and steps to set up.

Your store is showing a list of categories. Click http://hygt369.ecrater.com/category.php to see it.

If you mean how you can feature categories in the homepage (instead of bunch of items showing at the bottom of your homepage. click here to see homepage http://hygt369.ecrater.com/ ), then you need to have at least 4 categories (you have 4 at the moment, but asking about deleting one. That would make it 3 categories 1 less than you need to do the featuring on homepage. So if you delete that one think of another category you can open so you will have 4 so you can feature them).

To feature categories you need to
1 Go to Categories in your account
2 Click on the edit button next to the category you want to edit (edit button has a yellow pencil picture on it).
3 upload an image for the category (so it will show on the page as a button)
4 select what position you want it to appear. You can select from 7 locations (any of the ones below says "free")
5 click "update"

You do this for all the categories you want to feature. You need to do it for at lead four categories for this the show up in your store homepage.


To delete any category:
1 Go to Categories in your account
2. find the category you want to delete
3 click on the red cross mark X next to it
4 click "yes"

it will delete the category with whatever is inside. So make sure it is empty before you delete. If you made it featured category then you need to delete the image of the category before deleting the category.
