thank you eleganza - your store and pictures are impressive, love the sparklies!
Thanks for stopping by to have a cuppatea... I'm hoping the items are marketable, this is my first selling endeavor. We'll see!
Wishing you much success in 2007!

Hi eleganza, and cuppatea
Thanks for the tips! I am undecided as of now what I will buy, but I know I will need to invest into this (both time and money) if I want the photos look more professional. Outdoors, my camera takes terrific pictures, it is the indoors and the close-ups that I am struggling with. Looks like I'm not the only one...
Thanks again
P.s . Cuppatea, I looked at your store, and you have some yummie items! Yes, your pics are good but a little more light would not hurt them.
Also, are you going to put a featured photo into your categories on the home page? Just curious...I can't wait to see what else you have up and listed! |

Thank you classic treasures for also stopping by for a cuppa tea. Someone else asked me about posting pics for my categories. I took another look at the categories edit page and don't quite understand how position relates to featured item, will have to play with it. I think I will post pics when I have a minute.
And you are right, I needed more light. Took a series of pics one night and they are all sepia-toned. However in the daytime all the light reflects off the china! I'll learn as I go along, comments are much appreciated.

Hi cuppatea
I'm glad I could be of help! Also, thanks for the free SOLD signs, I can't locate that post where you were offering them. I copied about 6 and I saw you are making more and more as you go...I will use these alternately so I can see which one is my favorite (HARD CHOICE!)!
You are a very creative person! |
