My first sale!

My site has been up a week and I have my first sale!!! It was the Snowbabies Lucky Duck, how appropriate. I added Google Checkout yesterday, and that was how she paid.

By the way, I seem to remember some posts about not getting an email notice when using Google checkout. When I signed up, there was a box to receive an email and I clicked it. I had an email from Google about the sale so it works.

You have all been so encouraging, thank you! Now I have to go figure out Click & Ship and post more items.

Congratulations! I know a lot of customers are using google checkout here. It is a BIG advantage to offer it. More then half of my orders have used google checkout. Plus there are no fees attached to it for the next year.

The P.O. click and ship would not print a label. No error message, just no printout.

The USPS site or PP's click and ship? I had to download a java reader thing to get mine to print on USPS.

Thank you for the good wishes, you are all so encouraging! I thought it would be months before I sold anything... maybe it will be before the next one...

Call me superstitious, but I developed a SOLD logo, and voila! (Ok, I set up Google Checkout too which might have had something to do with it.)

I put info on how to access a page of SOLD logos in http://www.ecrater.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1911 so go get one - here's one for luck!

And also thanks to poopsheet/fancyflappers for the PP shipping link - I didn't know that and I would always ship it from a postoffice if I needed 1st class and a buyer paid with Google. Very Happy

Wow cuppatea, what a wonderful gesture! And, how lovely the sold signs are! I for sure plan on using some of these! Can we use the adorable little girl sold sign that is in the ad you posted also? Can you tell me how you can put text on a picture like this? thanks, and thanks for taking the time to do this!! VERY NICE!!!
