Please understand I am not trying to tell you how to run your business. Just giving you years of experience (at no charge) to help you make this store work for you.
Categories are not picked up by the search in when they search froogle.
Think - if I was looking to buy this what would I search for - put all that in the title.
This holds true no matter who is selling or what they are selling.
There is NOT foot traffic here. We are individual stores - just like having your own website. You got to do everything you can to get your customer to your store.
One of a Kind Hand Made 16 inch Necklace Jewellry Jewelry White Turquoise
That's what I would have for a title.
Then of course I would copy and paste that title into the description area and tell more about it. |

This type of guidance is priceless, especially for newbies. Once again I'll be checking my titles and asking myself, what would I type into a search engine if I was looking for xyz. It's a different thought process than eBay, and it takes a while to drive that message home... for me anyway!
Your free advice is much appreciated! |

bluemellow - heres a FREE tip just for you
Would you ever search on a search engine for Sz? Not to mention that is wont' come up in an ecrater.com search either.
One more, because I am generous tonight -
Green/Yellow/Ivory
I would do away with the / and just put a space in there. I doubt anyone would search for that string as you have it. It will come up in a search for Green Yellow Ivory but with the / in there you will rank lower on the pages for an exact match
OK, lol, last one
Sz L
Put
Size L Large
ok, my bedtime! |

I totally agree, I am aware of the importance of the keywords but I am definately going to go back and maybe rethink even better ones!
So much to do, so little time!!!

I spell it "earrings"... I see you spell "earings". I think the spelling differences are interesting. I heard the alot of the Canadian spelling for words is either influenced by the French spelling or British spelling. I don't know what the spelling is influenced by in the states though. |
