I'm going to eat lettuce and spinach salad and probably crumble some bacon on top. If I go to the grocery store I will buy some potatoes and boil them. If I'm really ambitious I will buy some ham and cabbage too and have an Irish boiled dinner. |

Happy St Patrick,s Day from Ireland
Just on a point of information here in Ireland the dish you mentioned is called Bacon and Cabbage
Potatoes also have an old slang name still used by some "Spuds" |

We're doing the traditional dinner: corned beef with boiled cabbage, carrots, potatoes and soda bread. Good meal for kids to help with.
Happy St. Patrick's Day...have the luck of the Irish today! |

* * * * Happy St. Patrick's Day * * * *
I'm wearing green including my favorite St. Patrick's Day pin.
Quote: | Enjoy a green drink of your choice today! |
My favorite drink is coffee. The first year my DH & I were together, I poured my first cup of coffee at our shop, added cream and was shocked when it was green!
Lots of great green drinks for today, but I Do Not suggest green food coloring in the coffee. We still laugh about the green coffee. |
