If I have more than one of a particular item, can I list it in different categories with information all being the same?
For instance, I have a cat pillow - I have it listed in 2 different categories because I have 2 of them available - the title and description though are the same --- is this okay to do?

I dont think that theres something wrong with it, but the only problem that you could come across with, is if someone purchases from both categories. If you have more than one, no problem, but otherwise you should delete your remaining listing if one sells (unless that both sell at the same time, which could cause you a problem).

| Duplicate listing of the exact same item is not allowed and the results end up with your store having the possiblity of getting shut down. |

Thanks All 
I went and changed all that I had - I am so glad that I asked this before I got to listing all the crafting brasses I have! I've got a ton and cringe at the thought of getting them listed, no less had I done it in different categories and then had to go and revise all of them!!
Always a good thing to ask first!

| sorry to bring this question up, but I'm not 100% sure I understand the same or very similar content even in different categories... so if you have two of an item, you can't sell more than one here? or you can't list more than one of them at the same time? thanks for your help! |

If you have 2 or more of the EXACT SAME item you can only list it once. When one sells - you simply do not mark it sold, do not hide it, do not delete it, and it will remain in your store for sale.
Do remember to lower the MAX QUANTITY amount within the listing - you must do that manually. |

Yeah, it's just that you can't have two listings for the exact same product running at the same time.
If you have, say, four stuffed animals and each is a different color than that's allowed but you can't list all four at the same time if they're all exactly the same. |
