An item was sold from my store and the buyer used google checkout. This is the info. in the google checkout:
Mar 20 7:44 PM Order charged The customer's credit card was successfully charged for $22.87.
Mar 20 7:44 PM Charge initiated You initiated a charge of $22.87 to the customer's credit card.
Mar 20 7:44 PM Authorization successful The customer's credit card was authorized for $22.87, and passed all risk checks. (Expires Mar 27, 2010 7:29:13 PM EDT)
Mar 20 7:29 PM Order received You received a new order. Google has sent the customer an order confirmation email.
I checked my bank and the funds aren't there.
Can someone tell me what is the problem.
Thanks |

It's the new seller thing. Google Checkout puts all new sellers on probation. Up to 2 months they give you the money from transactions with two week delay. That is to make sure people are not just opening Google Checkout accounts getting money from bunch of sales, not delivering and closing and running with the money.
Just wait for two weeks and the money will get to your account. But in the mean time you need to ship the item since the customer already paid for it.
The transfer of money from your Google Checkout to your bank account is basically your deal (not the customers). |

Thanks Acread.
I must also say that I have had other sales from my store and I got the funds right away, this is not the first sale through my google checkout. My google checkout account isn't new.
Could you elaborate on that? |

Hmm.
How late is late?
It takes 3-5 business days for money to be transfered from Google Checkout to your bank account.
Did you check your Google Chekcout to see if there is a chargeback?
When you say you used this account for another store, do you mean you added this new store to the same account? Did you change GC account info in any way? Or did you start a separate new GC account and you are considering yourself beyond the 60 day notice thing. (Regardless of how many GC accounts you have if you start a new one, they consider you new seller.) |

My GC account takes minimum 3 and often 4 days. Remember nothing happens at GC on weekends and bank holidays. |
