Hey all,
The last two orders we have had we didn't receive ecrater emails. The only way I know we had a sale was by the Paypal one. Everything was working for for the past year up until now. Nothing was changed ether.
Is this just a temporary glitch or do you think something is messed up with our email? We use Cox mail. |

Ya I'm pretty sure its not something related to ecrater. A lot of people would be having this problem.
Just wanna know if anyone did and what the issue was. Thanks |

make sure your email provider has not blacklisted emails from ecrater.com |

I've experienced the same problem with all my money order payments. I never receive notifications that an order was placed.
I contacted eCrater support awhile back about a copyright infringement case and I received notifications of a response via email no problems. I also posted a topic on the forums and received notifications for new replies so I don't believe that my email provider is blocking eCrater. |

Hmmmm, I just got another MO order and I did receive a notification so perhaps this was a problem a few weeks ago and eCrater corrected it?
I do know for a fact though that I received 2 orders within the past 2 weeks that did not trigger an eCrater notification. From now on I will check my order page every few days to make sure everything is kosher. Better safe than sorry... |

Ya haven't had any orders over Paypal yet. Hopefully it's resolved. Ether with ecrater or Cox. |

I have NEVER received a notice of a sale from eCrater.
The only notice I have ever received was from Google Checkout or PayPal when payment has been made.
I use Yahoo mail, and there are no blocks, filters, etc., that would prevent me from receiving an eCrater email.
My email address in eCrater is correct.
Help! |

With Google you never get an ecrater email notice. With PayPal you should also get an ecrater notice. Maybe there will be changes to that as that is how all the unpaid orders come through. People choose PP and then don't pay and buyers get all upset. If people choose Google and don't pay we are not even aware of the fact.

Something somewhere is glitchy because I haven't gotten an email about any order since June. I only take PayPal and I used to get an email every time. I have made no changes on my end; heaven only knows what comcast may have done!
I have gotten a couple of questions from shoppers since June, so those emails are getting through.
But I check my Admin for orders and then check my PP account for the money and don't really worry about the emails. I would not advise anyone to depend on emails! |

Thanks for the replies! I guess I'm not alone.
I check with my eCrater admin for "orders" several times a day, just in case.
PP and GC have been good about sending me emails when a buyer has paid, but I check them occasionally, too, in case THEIR emails fail to reach me! |

If you are not getting emails from eCRATER for PayPal orders, please use the contact form to notify eCRATER customer service of the problem. The system does not send an email for orders completed through Google Checkout, but should be sending an email for PayPal orders.
