It does not make sense to do there. Even if I change the background color of the input box you will not be able to tell if there is a space after the phrase.


if the background changed colors behibd the typed character it would, like if it's blue and you type a letter the background behind the typed letter would change to white.

FleeceBlanketGuy,

Currently we are still looking for potential problems so we process the pending actions once per day.

From the next week we will start processing on every 1 or 2 hours.

I did a small test run and it worked just fine. So then I decided to run a larger batch, and they've been pending for two days.

When I checked again, still pending after 3 days. Then I checked again a few hours later, and the global editor shows that they have been done. I checked the items in question, and NONE of the changes were made.

That's very normal.

You are trying to replace

"Free shipping to U.S. and Canada."

with

"Free shipping worldwide."

However in the description you actually have "Free shipping to the U.S. and Canada.". As a result the text you requested to be replaced cannot be found and no replacements are made.

Figured it out. I have some of each. With 'the' and without. Apparently it did some of them, the ones without. Embarassed

Windsongsboutique a question: Are you having any problems with Google or eCrater about using "Free Shipping . . ." in your titles?

At one time this was a big no-no so I spent hours removing the Free from all my listings! With this new global editor it will be a snap to add Free to each listing!

My stuff shows up on google. They simply drop the 'free shipping' in the google listings. So it really doesn't matter anymore.

eCrater Admin:

Either this thing is just not working, or there is something I'm missing. I've checked,
double checked,
triple checked.......

Case in point:
You can see that I changed my bracelets catagory, Using the text both ways it was used.
First one way, to take care of those, then the other way to take care of them.
None of them have been changed. Either way.

Check these out and compare to what I put into the editor.
The first two bracelets listed in this catagory in my store:
One has the text one way.
The other has it the other way.

Neither was changed. Nada. Zip. You are grounded until further notice. Laughing

You are repeating the same mistake that I described in my previous reply to you.

Btw there were 16 products from category 359023 that were successfully replaced.

I don't think you're getting it.

Some items have:
Free shipping to U.S. and Canada.

So thats what I put in the editor to be replaced. I ran the whole catagory so it would replace the ones that had that actual text.

Other items have:
Free shipping to the U.S. and Canada.

So I put that text into the editor to be replaced. It ignores the ones that don't have the exact text, right?

Most items have not been changed.
I even copied and pasted so that it would be exactly right.

Tell me what I am not seeing......

I have not tried the editor yet, so I'm following this with some interest to see how it works. Is it case sensitive? I notice that some of your ads that still say U.S. and Canada instead of Worldwide start off with "FREE" as opposed to "Free."

Just a thought.
