|
|
I recently bought an item from another eCrater store. I "Asked seller a question" and he replied. But then I couldn't find a link back to his store! I finally found it and made my purchase.
I have had several customers "Ask me a question". A few of them seemed genuinly interested in purchasing, and some messages and questions went back and forth, but they never made a purchase. I understand that people opt out and that's okay, but now I can't help but wonder if they could find the link back to my store.
It seems to me that I read about this somewhere in this Forum but I cannot find it.
Perhaps one of you could "Ask me a question"? and see how that goes?
Thank you! |

as a seller I ALWAYS put the link to the item in the reply and sign it with a link to my site
eCrater mail system does not put a link
You know, you can ask yourself a question .. you don't need us for that |

Any actual question I get about a specific item, I always give them the link to the item and my note to them is signed with my store url in the signature. That is the easiest way to be sure your customer can find their way back to you. |

Yep... I do the same... At LEAST back to your store.
It does show your store name but not linked. |

If you reply to the emailed question, the sender's email will be copied and that contains the store name and item title although nothing clickable. If you click on the sender's email link, nothing is included. |
