OK, I feel really dumb asking this....but how do you make a button or banner ad with your logo in it? I've done a Google search but can't seem to find anything that I can actually understand. I just want a simple button with my logo and a tag line in it that links to my ecrater store. Can anyone direct me to a free, simple-to-use program to accomplish this? I see so many great opportunities here for button placement and I'd like to get in on the action. I've learned so much on this message board (just not how to make a button. LOL). |

Any photo editing program will work. There are also websites that have free banner makers - search google for "free banner makers"
Your choices will be limited when using the free ones |

Hi fullerbrush ~ TopSite offers banner creations here;
http://www.topsiteguide.com/Animated-Banner-Creation.asp
I'm remember the Fuller Brush man that used to come to our house when I was a kid... do they still go door to door? Those were the days when doctors made house calls *sigh* |

I made one of my banners with a programme on a 15 day trial but unfortunately deleted it by accident.
As wahm says the choices are limited with the free ones so you might want to consider a trial.
Good luck

The ones I listed are freebies, but you can't always include your own logo or font with them... they're good for special promos & sales tho, cuz you can add a few lines of text to flash & change.
PSP or MsPaint works great for making them too. |

Thanks for your suggestions and recommendations. I will explore some of the freebie sites first, then look into a trial offer to design a banner. Hopefully I can get something together this weekend when I have more time to work on it.
Yes, the Fuller Brush Man still goes door-to-door. But with most people working during the day and others afraid to open the door to a stranger, I mostly sell online. It is still fun to hear people say "Oh, I remember the Fuller Brush man." |
