I have been suspended for inactivity. How active do you have to be? Surely it's my store so I should decide when to update or add items. This has happened on both of my stores The Badgers Lair for the USA and Badgers Lair for the UK.
As this is a hobby not a business I may as well shut up shop as I have only sold 1 item in all the time I have been open.
Or do ecreater only want stores that do a lot of business by selling clothes etc. and not specialist items or something different.

I can see one item in your store, so you aren't completely suspended. I'm sorry for your problems, but thank you for posting this to remind people to tweak their store every so often.
You don't sign in every so often? What if someone bought something, how would you know? Since you say it's just a hobby, maybe you really aren't using your store the same way others do, to sell things, but more as a display? |

It is not a display, the items are there to be sold to fund my collecting.
Surely you do not have to check you shop all the time, to see if you have sold anything, with the one and only sale I have made I had a paypal notification to say I had been paid there for I knew I had sold something. |

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be argumentative. I really didn't know that we could be suspended for inactivity, although that suggestion has been made by some store owners to get rid of abandoned stores. It may be that the suggestion has been picked up and implemented. Or maybe it was already announced and I missed it.
Anyhow, I mostly wanted to let you know that you do have an item showing in your store, so you aren't suspended in the same way that the counterfeiters are.
Best of luck and hope you do well!

Your store is not suspended. Why did you think it was?
You only have 4 items. It would be almost impossible for your items to be found in a search unless someone was searching with almost your exact title. |

Never heard of that EXCEPT if you store appeared abandoned
you did nothing for months.
As long as you long in every 60 days and click on a product, click update then your store is active.
Your store is on hold -- it's not suspended nor was it suspended. |

Wow, I had no idea your store could be closed for inactivity.
I am always tweaking so I guess that would not be a problem.

auntiem - if a store owner doesn't come to their store and update anything in a year or two IT SHOULD BE SUSPENDED but it's not. At least most of the time. |
