Hello everyone. I am just beginning to set up a store and have filled out my shipping matrix and then enabled the shipping calculator.

1. There are some items I want to put a fixed rate on but the calculator has replaced those in the listing.
Some items I can send first class or media mail for a cheaper cost, but I didn't want to make First Class available in the calculator because you can't seem to be able to remove this from listings that don't qualify for it (i.e. because of weight).

2. Do I have to have the calculator activated for my listings to appear on the UK site, or is the matrix enough.

Thank you for any help.

The Calculator is a store-wide default setting and it will be used for all of your items.

The matrix would be enough if you don't want to use the calculator. Sellers have posted here that it works to use the calculator for US sales and the matrix for UK sales; just don't select any international options for the calculator and it will use the matrix. Or vice versa, I assume, matrix for US and calculator for UK.
I use the matrix for everything, so I'm just posting based on what I've read here.
