Has nothing to do with WHEN an item was listed. Might have been the first item ... does it fit the terms? |

I see Smurf designs on your favors; is that a licensed design? I also saw a Hershey bar but I was thinking that I read somewhere that they didn't mind if you made wrappers for their things. I'm not expert on which companies are the most feisty about their trademarks.

Im still active not suspended, I never got an email with what i did wrong???
If im going to get suspended PLEASE TELL ME WHY, Thats just a professional way of doing things... Dont you agree? |
Actually, yes, I do agree. But that is not how it's done here. It's because of the small unpaid (I believe) staff and it's left to us to police ourselves and each other. If they could afford to hire professional staff to do this monitoring, then the site wouldn't be free as it is now. So the responsibility rests with us as sellers to read and follow the terms and if we don't, unfortunately the suspension is our first notice.
Good luck and hope you get it sorted out!

Thank You bigtallmensclothing wrote: | Olivias wrote: | I design my own invites |
I just seen in your featured items .. Smurfs Personalize...
You did not design the smurfs. That is a trademark issue.
You can not take a character and put some words on it and call it yours ... that's illegal. |

yes, if they are breaking the rules.
How ecrater team decided who has rights to do what, I'm not sure. I know many software comes with images and you have the right to use them ... usually for personal use only ... not commerical use. Selling them makes it commercial.
Good Luck! |

That's extremely cheap for the Smurfs character license.
Sounds more like the cost of the software to me. |

This is not about your suspension but in your terms your explanation of what to do about damaged items is all about eBay. You need to edit that. |

I noticed that one of your Sausage products was for "Local Pickup"
This is against eCrater's TOS. Must ship throughout the US.
Do you have multiple listings for the same product?
What type of services are you offering? Can you provide these services nationwide?
All in the Community Forum are sellers like you and cannot see you product listings.
eCrater does not notify store owners when stores are suspended for violations of their terms.
They feel that it is up to the store owner to:
1. Identify the problem
2. Correct it
3. Contact eCrater when the problem has been fixed.
You may read the eCrater Terms at: http://www.ecrater.com/terms.php
You can contact eCrater at: http://www.ecrater.com/contact.php
Good Luck resolving this problem.

Hi Ralph,
Thank you for this message it is helpful. Although I do not agree with how Ecrater runs that part of their business, that is how it is, and we will deal with it until we have a better option. So for now how does one REINSTATE, once the problem is fixed?? What is funny (actually not very funny at all because I have the burden of figuring it out) is that I have to find what is wrong, all they do is turn off the switch. No wonder the WEB GETS A BAD RAP by some of its critics!!
Thanks again for your help.

When you have finished making your changes, use the contact form at the link I gave you and tell them what you have done to fix your store.
Ask them If there is anything else you need to do to be reinstated.
Submit this form only once and wait. It may take them a few days to reinstate your store if everything is OK.
They have a very small staff to deal with all inquiries and it takes a little time.
Don't know if they will send you an email or just turn the store back on.
You can keep checking your store from time to time to see if your products are showing again.
A good evening to all.

On the bottom of the main page of the auction site, there is a link that says contact us. You can contact e-crater that way. They are pretty quick to respond. |
