These are big time scammers. They try to hook you into selling them a big item with a cashier's check. They send one for LOTS more than the purchase price and want you to send the difference to another person. Don't bite on this!

email address: mosexy_luv@yahoo.co.uk
Briefly:
Wants to buy an item and claims her boss owes her money which he will send to me. I'm supposed to deduct my payment for goods and send the rest to her travel agent, along with my name, address and phone number. Uh Huh... I'll get right on that one.
Watch out for this one!!

About a month ago I posted the following scammer e-mail address:
rotimi_milo@yahoo.com
That time the "buyer" claimed to be from Washington D.C. A couple of days ago another "buyer" used another name but the same e-mail address as first scammer. This one claimed to be from Houston and actually ordered the same item as the first "buyer." When I sent him/her an e-mail saying the sale was canceled, he/she e-mailed back:::
"this is suraj afolayan i want to remenber u that i wanty to pay with money order and u should send me the account and i should send the money order so u can help me to ship my order as soon as i send and u send to. i want u to give me the total cost of 10 pieces so i will send the money orderto ur account as soon as u send me the account details and the total cost of 10 if i send the money order and u cash and u send i will mail u for another one loke 20or 50 pieces so i will like u to mail me back"
So the carrot was that they would order 10 this time and and then I would get a larger order from them down the road. Wow. And what I was selling was listed as only quantity of one available.
Besides being crooks, these folks just aren't very smart.
I was lucky, I guess, but I never got this kind of thing on eflay. But I get them now on iOffer and eCrater---the only two places where I have had sales since I closed on eBay. I guess about 1/3 of my "sales" are bogus or non-payers. Really tiresome.

They don't even look at your listings, they just buy email lists and spam away. It really has less or little to do with where or what you sell and more to do with what online forms you fill out and where you display/use your email address. |

reneeniz@yahoo.com (Crystal)
Palm Bay, FL police went to this person's home which was in a ritzy neighborhood and talked to them.
They sent $30.00 for a bounce check through PPal and gave a story that the babysitter stole their checkbook and wrote bad checks.
No more word from them so I'm out $110.00
Yes, this check was held 10 + days!
