|
|
The search function is not working in our store. To clarify, if I search for products using Google our products DO show up. But if someone gets to our site directly and tries to search on the ecrater store, it simply says "search results for: color (0 results found)" no matter what keyword I use. I've tried searching for full product names and simple keywords in products, but get the same results each time.
Anyone else notice this? Any suggestions? |

Just did a search in your store using the word "speaker" and found 58 listings.
Seems to be working for me. I'm using IE 7 as a browser.
Everyone enjoy the weekend.

Working for me, too, and I'm in Firefox.
I can't find any items that you have which have the word "color" in the title. I do see some for COLORstrip or something similar but they all have the tm symbol for trademark attached, so I'm not sure how to put the symbol in the search box. The search function here searches for exact matches only, not close matches or partial words. If there were a space between COLORstrip and the tm, you could probably get COLORstrip to come up. |

I just typed in Korg into the eCRATER home page search line. Your items were right there on top.
eCRATER search is only for the title and is exact search term only. It doesn't presume you want something you didn't type the way Google does, like type in shirt and they feed back shoes. |

Korg works within your store, too, which is where I thought you were searching. Sorry if I misunderstood. Color won't work because it isn't a word in any of your titles (that I can find).
Don't know if we've helped or not! |

When I searched for red, the only thing that came up was the Korg tuner.
When was this item entered compared to when you were searching for the 'red' item? There is a delay between entry/edit and searchability. |

eCRATER search ONLY looks in the Title for the exact words
so if it's in the description ... it will not find it |

I've discovered that it's working using everything except Firefox 5 on my PC laptop... strange, but at least I know it's working in general. Thanks for the feedback and information! |
