|
|
A customer placed an order for a "Poster" thinking it was a Video game. It was clearly marked in my "Poster" category. In turn the customer leaves a negative remark on my store Feedback. The only negative.
Since I have made it even clearer that it is only a poster to avoid confusion in the future.
How do I get the negative feedback item corrected? |

You can contact Ecrater at http://www.ecrater.com/contact.php and see what they think. Only you know what the original listing looked like and how clear or unclear it was that it was a poster.
You still have one of these listed and the title only says Halo Reach. Where is the word poster????? The fact that it is in the Posters category is not at all relevant if your buyer is coming in from a Google search. The category name is not prominent and most people will not see it. They will only see the title and then the description. You need as much info as possible in the title itself, like Halo Reach Poster 20 x 24 inches Unframed etc etc. A buyer who reads that will not be expecting a video game.
Good luck to you!

I agree with WT. You need to add the word, poster, to your titles. That would also help in google search. |

buyers rarely see YOUR category name ... look at your product listing ... seriously ... do you see the category?
Look at a search on ecrater.com .. YOUR category will never show there.
It's not the BUYERS fault if you didn't have POSTER in the title and in the description. |

None of your titles I looked at say what the item is, just the subject matter. I'm surprised you don't have 25 negs. I'm also surprised no one has reported you to eCRATER for nonsense titles for that is what yours are. Nonsense titles are a suspendable offense. |

Unless the descriptions have been changed since op posted I don't see what the confusion is about. The listings I looked at clearly stated poster in the description. No where did I see the word game.
As for nonsense titles, I disagree. They are very short and could make better use of keywords for listing but I don't really see them as nonsense.
Sorry, but if someone is asking for help couldn't we be a bit more helpful and not so, well, unhelpful. |

Suggestion for Miggysstore
Go to your store (not admin) and click on advanced search, then click on search. Change the view to List and put a paper over the photos. Ask yourself, "Do the titles briefly describe what's for sale?"
This is the only information available in an ecrater search either from eCrater site or from within your store since the search on eCrater only looks at the title. Also, search engines don't "see" photos. |

I just checked some with no mention of the word poster till the second line of the description. Same with sports cards. The only title is the person's name. More description space is being taken up with promoting their other sites than with an actual description of the product being sold.
