|Probably some of you noticed that we added a new option in the Options menu last week - "Do not auto convert prices in other currencies"
This comes with an important change affecting your UK stores. Now if you ship to UK we will automatically convert your prices in pounds and list your products in our UK marketplace. The main advantage is that you will no longer have to use the global editor to update your prices based on the cross currency rate. We would do this for you automatically. This simplifies the process of selling in UK a lot.
We also enabled this option for all merchants who currently have GBP prices. This will prevent us from updating your already set UK prices. However if you prefer us to auto update your UK prices, please feel free to uncheck this option.
For all merchants who do not like this behavior there is "Do not auto convert prices in other currencies" option. By checking it off we will not auto convert the UK prices. You would rather have to use either the global editor or manually enter the GBP prices while adding/editing/copying products.
If for some reason you do not want to have your products listed in ecrater.co.uk anymore please follow these two steps:
1) make sure you checked the "Do not auto convert prices in other currencies" option in the Options menu.
2) Use Global Editor, choose "set UK price" and then choose "delete" as an operator.
**Please note the global action does not process immediately and the products will not be removed until the global action is no longer pending. Please do not delete the global action while it is pending.**
