I have been having trouble for the last couple of days with the eCrater pages not loading fully. Is anyone else having the same problem?
This is when I am trying to use the pages in my own site to add listings. I will click on Products and when the Administrative Tool comes up, only the Basic Setup and Shipping & Taxes columns show up. When I click on Product, sometimes the products come up and sometimes they don't. Sometimes they will appear when I hit the Refresh button icon and sometimes they won't. This is a real pain.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Alice Sisk

I use Foxfire for my browser, but I have been using it for some time. The only other program that I have open is my email.
My cache is set to clear every night, so that shouldn't be a problem.
I cannot understand it.....
Thanks,
Alice Sisk

Are you on dial-up by any chance?
I'm on cable but I see eCrater pages getting hung every now and then -- but it's not usually for long and then they load... |

I have FastAccess with BellSouth, now AT&T. Speed is not the problem. |

I don't know if this will help but it's worth a try. If other sites seem to load slowly as well, you may try rebooting your DSL modem. Sometimes my connections seem to get very slow and this helps. |

It seemed to do the trick at first, but it is happening again. And it is only on the eCrater site that I am having problem with pages not fully loading.
If anyone else is having this problem, I have found that if you will tap the refresh button several times quickly, the page will load.
It is still a mystery....

This happens on mama-sans and my PC al the time. we let it run its course. I know its a pain but it goes away after a while. We also have DSL we were thinking maybe it was the DSL but we rebooted and it didnt help at all.
Have you emptied your history, cache, and cookies? as well as your temporary folders? that may make it run a bit faster not a garunteed fix though. |

I have done all of the above and nothing helps. I am glad that I just stumbled across the tapping of the refresh button. That makes the page reload. Otherwise, it is a real problem.
I hate that you are having difficulties, too, but I am happy to know that it is just not my machine.
Thanks,
Alice |

I use a desktop and leave it on most of the time. Would that make a difference, do you think?

I dont think that would make a difference. Try to go to the page that hangs up and hold down the ctrl key on your keyboard while using the refresh button. |
