Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to make it so that I can accept other ways of payment without haveign my actual name online.....
I mean paypal is great and all but not everyone has it you know? |

| Well, Somethign that people with out paypal can use. I havnt made any sells and I'm thinking its becuase we only offer Paypal and not a lot of people can use paypal you know? |

You have other payment options on ecrater.com.
If you are in the USA, you can use google checkout - it's free!
eCRATER.com also gives you the option of accepting money orders and cashier checks and personal checks.
I just don't know what other options you would like to offer. |

Well, Honestly I would do the money orders and such but my mother in law doesnt want her name out on the web.... and seeings how she is the owner of the store It must go to her.
And google charges after the free time. |

Google is FREE until December 2007 - why not enjoy it well you can?

WHERE on the web or you putting it?
The only people that would see it are the buyers when they complete an order.
They are trusting you by sending you money and you won't trust them with a name?
Get a PO box if you don't want the address to be known.

| When Google stops the free promotion, it will still be the cheapest way to go. $0.20 + 1.9 % I believe, Paypal is much more. When it comes that time, if you must raise your prices a hair. |

| Yes, you can close your account with Google and remove it as a payment option here. Ad Words are Google Pay-per-Click Advertising. |

| I havent used Ad Words yet but from what I read, you give a deposit of $5 or $10 (the minimum, I am not sure what it is), and when some uses your keywords an ad will pop up on the side of the google search, if the person clicks it they will be sent to your site and you will be charged ( I dont know how much you are charged per click) |

| By the way, when you use Ad Words, Google credits you with free Checkout processing, which will be good when their free promotion is over. |

You don't have to use ADwords to use Google Checkout.
BUT I am still wondering what type of OTHER payment methods you have in mind. |
