Just wanted to introduce myself. This is my first attempt at selling online, and it's going to be quite a learning experience for me. It took me forever to get the store up, but I think I'm headed in the right direction (I hope!!).
Well, I just thought I would say hello to my fellow ecraters. I'm sure I will be talking to you all in the months to come.
If anyone gets a chance to drop by my store and check it out, let me know what you think.

Hi and welcome
You site looks good so far.
Don't forget to fill out your contact information as a lot of folks will be reluctant to buy without anything there.
Here is also a great thread for advertising and promotion ideas to get your store out there.

If I may suggest some changes in your shop announcement... change this...
Each writing instrument you will see here are one-of-a-kind,hand-
crafted works of art.
to this....
Each writing instrument you see here IS a one-of-a-kind hand-crafted WORK of art.
Then, grammatically, you will look like a pro too! Welcome to Ecrater!

Hi again.
I was just checking out your store and I don't think you need the word 'been" in this sentence... or maybe a whole different structure but I don't think it makes sense as it is.
"My business has always been grown by word of mouth"
