robins use potholders to pull worms out of the ground
the trees are whistling for the dogs.
the best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.
hot water comes from both taps.
you can make sun tea instantly.
you learn that a seatbelt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron.
the temperature drops below 90 and you feel a chill.
you discover that in July it takes only two fingers to steer your car (one on each hand).
you discover that you can get sunburned through your car window.
you actually burn your hand opening the car door.
you break a sweat the instant you step outside at 5:30 A.M.
your biggest motorcycle wreck fear is, "What if I get knocked out and end up lying on the pavement and fry to death?"
you realize that asphalt has a liquid stage.
the potatoes cook underground, so all you have to do is pull them out and add butter.
the cows give evaporated milk
farmers feed their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying boiled eggs. |

| LOL! Hope it cools off for you soon. I found it hilarious when I took my grandsons to the splash park, more adults were playing in it than kids, myself included. |

| The temperatures are no where near record breaking yet but no air circulating making it hard to breath. I had a package to drop in the mailbox at the corner and drove it there. Car is air-conditioned. Should have gone for a drive. |

Some of those were hilarious...the others too close to the truth!
I was on the phone with a support person in Houston who says it's pouring rain, so I hope that means you're all cooling off a bit. |
