I just got a new system and I am currently behind a firewall and can't list products. Does anyone know how to correct this situation? I keep getting an error when I go to the product page.
Thank you,

A couple of things to try first. When, you said "new system" I'm assuming you're running Vista and probably the default firewall. MS is already having some bugs with the Vista firewall but you can try these ideas.
If it's XP the same will apply.
1. Open Tools>Internet Options>Security. Click "Trusted Sites" the add the url to ecater. Right next to the secuiry tab click "Privacy" normally you would want this set to "Medium"
2 Open your Firewall. In Control Panel>Firewall. There are three tabs General, Exceptions and Avanced. Click Exceptions..it should have a place to enter the urls you always grant permission to.
3.If your running another firewall, check to see where the exception setting are and read the info. It should allow you to configured it to allow sites you trust.
4. If all else fails....get a big hammer |
