Anyone Notice the new thumb nail photo layout? For what its worth I like it and helps with the description of my items.
The thumb nail photos use to be vertical along side the large main photo and only displayed four thumb nails.
Now with the thumb nails being horizontal and diplayed at the bottom with up to 7 thumb nails showing!
Check out the new thumb nail layout! |

It does look nicer this way. Didn't know it would display up to 7 extra thumbnails at a time but, I don't have anything listed right now that has more than 4 photos. At least I don't think I do.??? |

I like it because the customer don't have to see those arrows that blended in too much. Now they will get excited to see the next enlarged picture after seeing the array of thunbnails to pick from.
click click click, buy...............

Agreed. I think those up & down arrows in the original thumbnail layout were confusing. Most people couldn't even see them & had no clue they could scroll through it to see more photos. Although, the new thumbnails take longer to load. The old ones loaded instantly when clicked on & ever since the new view it takes like 5 seconds for a new photo to load. |

I had been doing some cleaning up of my listings Sunday night. Not all my listing I have, follow the new thumb nail photo layout.
I guess it has to do with the original size of images that you use. And it seems that as long as the images
are at least 600 pixels in size it will change to the new thumb nails showing up at the bottom of the main image.
Examples of two listings I found in my store.
(1) Original size of image 500x466 pixels
(2) Original size of image 510x510 pixels |

Good thing I read this thread. I was still using the old outdated template. I'm sure the new modern look will add confidence to potential customers! Very nice! |
