How to confirm sale with buyer?

Is there an option on ecrater that confirms a sale with the buyer with shipping info?

Not through Ecrater, but you can do it through the payment processors if the payment was electronic. In Google Wallet, you have to do it manually with the "Send Shipping Notice" button, and enter the tracking number. PayPal will automatically send the tracking info when you print the shipping label through them; if you don't, then you can do it manually too. I print almost all my labels through PayPal, even the orders that pay through GW, and I find this auto-message very handy. You can add whatever additional message/comment/terms you want, and the customer gets a link to click-through directly the the USPS tracking page for their order. I should say that many sellers like to send their own confirmation emails; I like to personalize the auto message to save me a step.
