The categories do have to be in alphabetical order.
Welcome to ecrater.
Best wishes

How about renaming the category to "Max Equations Clearance Corner"? |

Also, the categories aren't just alphabetical but alphanumerical and some folks have solved problems like that by adding numbers to the beginning of the cat names. Of course, that may only work if you rarely add new cats. |

One way to get around the order of categories is to use the alphabet. It will get the category in order you want them.
See http://formaldresses.ecrater.com/category.php?cid=48334
Look on the left menu - this is subcategories but I wanted them in order by size - without the a, b, c's there it put size 11 and 12 before Size 4 and smaller.
Here I had to use spaces that don't appear to be noticed at all
http://bigtallmensclothing.ecrater.com/category.php?cid=4363
Look at the left menu - again sub-categories - I wanted them in Size order
to get Size XLarge Tall at the top of the list instead of the bootom I had to enter a couple extra spaces after Size and before XLarge
It worked for me. |
