Great 'moon' songs!
The Shins - It's Only Life (Official Music Video)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fweNLKBCh5A
Nice song and video!
"It's Only Life"
Dyed in the wool, you've been cornered by a natural desire
You want to hop along with the giddy throng through life
But how will you learn to steer when you're grinding all your gears?
You've been talking for hours
You say, "Time will wash every tower to the sea,"
And now you've got this worry in your heart
Well I guess it's only life, it's only natural
We all spend a little while going down the rabbit hole
The things they taught you, they're lining up to haunt you
You got your back against the wall
I call you on the telephone, won't you pick up the receiver?

Oh hold your ears, jazz fusion but still is hectic for a musician.
I got to get this album someday. (might have posted already)
Billy Cobham is a drummer, so that is one big point to listening to it.

Believe me, it's a lot to absorb, intricate, takes years to digest.

Died of heroin I think.
Tommy Bolin, an album to fall in love with, so to speak.
Songs apply to all aspects of life in some way. |

Judas Priest
New hard rock, step aside, I heard it all, and no new rock bands can do it.

Really good album, and maybe Rock O Rolla, but I didn't go for the newer albums, only a few songs.
It's very worth to buy the album, good audio system, and headphones, this album is recorded really good. |

I enjoyed your Tommy Bolin - Private Eyes link. Good music
In 1972 I got a modern jazz album as part of a Capitol Records 12 LPs for a penny promotion. My intro in modern jazz.
Les McCann album Invitation to Openness ...fave track is Beaux J. Poo Boo

If you ever get that Tommy Bolin album, it is recorded really clear, even if you make a cassette of it, it still sounds really good.
Find a new copy
If you have a good phono cartridge. |

It's just friggen awesome, real rock.
I was listening to this Album when my friends were rocking to Donny Ozmond, not that I don't like the Ozmonds.
Rock on. |
