Hello everybody. I just joined and set up my store and listed a few items. I will be listing about 1200 during the next year. Questions.
How do I know when I make a sale? Do I get notified by Ecrater via email?
I'm having trouble navigating the site. Any tips.
Also, any tips on my storefront appearance will be greatly appreciated. I'm not real good at technical stuff.
I also sell on Ebay, Bidville, iOffer, Epier and was a very happy Yahoo seller until they pulled the plug. That is actually how I heard about eCRATER. Thanks so much and I'll be posting on the boards once I get my store built a bit. |

Welcome Dream Cottage-
Your site is looking good and will look even better once you get your own images uploaded.
The 2 things I saw are:
1. The picture on the top left is hard to see. Do you have a logo? That would be a much better use of space. There are free logo programs out there.
2. Your opening text. I would leave out all that stuff about traveling and possible shipping delays. You don't want to have a negative be 1 of the first things that your customers read about you. Also, ecrater has the option of putting your store on hold while you are on vacation so you don't have to worry about not being able to fulfill orders. |

Hi
Welcome to ecrater.
I would Change the YOU IMAGE HERE Photo, and fill out your FAQ Text.
Also change your Logo as mentioned above.

I did a test run and they sent an email to the address I used when I signed up. Also on the left side where it says "orders" in you admin screen you can click on that and it will tell you if you have an order. |

Payments methods of PayPal, money order, personal check wil all get an email from noreply@ecrater.com
If Google checkout is used for the payment method - whether you get a notice from google about the order depends on how you have it set up. On Google checkout orders you do NOT receive an email from ecrater.com
ALSO, when you log in on the left menu is a section for ORDERS. Order will appear in there UNLESS you do not have google set up properly. If you have goggle checkout set up properly then all orders will be in there. |

What kind of trouble? If you're talking about bouncing back and forth between Admin, the forums and your store your best bet is to open up separate windows (or tabs) for each. |

Click on the 'Color Templates' from the left menu
Find the picture that's selected. Under the selected one the radio button is selected
Click on that picture. A new screen will appear and you will be able to

NOT without knowing what you did in the first place.
