For those of us that can remember eBay from way back when.....rather interesting, indeed. If I recall, correctly, eBay was hitting around the half mill mark earlier in the year, but apparently were pretty steady at that rate by September of that 1998 for their IPO. Notice the fee difference compared to now! 
With Yahoo closing auction shop, inventory control coming to eC, and more internet-planetary type things lining up...could be quite an exciting future for eC on the horizon!

I am one of those who was waiting for inventory control. I have thousands of postcards to list.
I've decided now is the time to get started and hope the inventory control will be here by time I get up and running with lots of items listed.

What a wonderful site. Perfect for the fixed price items I used to have on yahoo.
Was just wondering how the inventory control is coming along. Not that I'm impatient - just excited.

Wow thats great. Good for ecrater and all of us.
Not trying to throw water on the fire or be a wise guy but, the number of listings is great but how about the sales. Are there any statistics about how many items are being sold?
That to me is more important. Just wondering how that was going in that department. |

i have been watch the hobby and craft section. not long before we reach 50,000 items there.
as far as the number of sales being made. . . . all i can say is mine increase each month. only been here one year, so really looking forward to this next year. will be able to make a better comparison on my part beginning in January. |
