Hi, I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place, but the past toe orders I had in my store say the buyer is charged for the shipping in the invoice, but once they get to the paypal screen shipping says $0.00..
Has anyone else been experiencing this? I closed my store temporarily, hoping that the solution to the issue is fixed either by ecrater or paypal..

1. Looks like your store is set up for free-shipping.

2. You may not invoice the customer for a higher total after they hit PayPal.

3. Go fix your shipping options (matrix, USPS Calculated, etc).

Thanks for your reply. I instantly thought the same that my store settings were set to free ship... But it's not..
When the buyer checks out, it shows on ecrater the total added with ship.. Once they get to paypal, the shipping disappears... And another note even if they have paid the invoice on PayPal, there is no green check mark next to the sold items in my completed section.
Do you think this could b an issue with paypal? I was curious if anyone else was having this issue?

@clipper was this a US destination order, or one from another country ?

@clipper .. is there any possibility that you have made a change to your PayPal account? Are you using your PayPal account on another site (maybe starting your own website) where you have actually added shipping information on the PayPal account? There were problems reported in the past where everything worked fine on eCRATER until the seller set shipping prices in PayPal. Once that was done, when the customer went to pay, the PayPal shipping was used.

USA based orders. There are maybe two items on there that I put free ship on . The invoice on ecrater actually shows the shipping charge, but once it hits paypal , paypal takes off the shipping and goes to zero.. And states on ecrater invoice that it has not been paid.

Shelia, you are probably right.. This might be a PayPal issue.. But I don't recall touching any settings there :-/

no, you are not nuts. Our orders last night showed 00 shipping also, same as yours. Order this morning was ok. Glitch somewhere.

Great ok! I just activated my store again, and did a test and now it's bald to normal!
Zannsvintage, thank you for confirming! I was going crazy trying to figure our what was wrong lol!
