How to add a widget to my web page...

I am new to the site, and trying to get my Website set up.

I cannot figure out how to add a widget to my Web page.

I understand the copy and paste, how do I get to my page from administrative to paste it?

We need more info. What do you mean by website? A website or your eCrater store?

Sorry, yes my ecrater store. It has a place in administration for the widget, but I don't know how to get it on my store front. It says copy and paste, but how do I get to my store front to paste?

It doesn't work under any of the preview options.

The widget doesn't go into your store. FYI you can't add any html to your store. The widgets are for if you have a blog or a website that isn't your store to help advertise and bring buyers to your store so there isn't much point of having one in your store.

Just remember that any time you run into something that requires html, you can't use it on ecrater. All you can do is fill in real text.

Yeah, the widgets are a way to advertise your store. They show 3 to 9 thumbnails photos depending on the size you choose & each time someone refreshes your web page, it shows 3-9 new random items that they can click on to visit your store. If the buyer is already in your store looking around, it's not necessary to have a widget in your store advertising your store lol, because they're already there looking around.

Those are for blogs, personal websites, etc.
