When someone sees an item on eCrater and wants it, they start going through checkout. Then, for whatever reason, they decide not to complete checkout, not paying for the item with Paypal, for instance. So I get an email saying that item in my store was ordered, but I have no payment in my Paypal. I completely understand this issue, afaik, except for one aspect.

I'm assuming that eCrater doesn't count those checkouts against things sold through the eCrater marketplace, only the items that were actually paid for, correct? In other words, eCrater is not charging a marketplace fee to me unless the items involved in my above-explained issue were actually paid for by a buyer?

You only get charged a fee on a an actual paid order.

Unlike some other venues like ebay, ecrater seems to be very careful in their accounting. My fee payment is only a few cents different monthly than what I had calculated, mostly likely from rounding up or down to the nearest cent.
